Hamish graduated from the University of Exeter in 2020 with a degree in Computer Science & Economics and is currently working in the Capital Markets industry in London.

Whilst studying for a postgraduate degree at The University of Edinburgh, he became intrigued by the role of data-driven decision making in financial markets. He investigated algorithmic trading systems in the Cryptocurrency market for his thesis project, which required extensive pricing data. 

Soon discovering that there was high demand for such market data, he founded Edinblock in the summer of 2020.
